We bring together industry partners, researchers, and students to solve real manufacturing challenges and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.

OMIC is a partner with Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech), whose applied research expertise and career-focused education form the foundation of our work. This partnership allows OMIC to turn academic insight into real-world outcomes for manufacturers across the region.

OMIC R&D has access to the subject matter expertise of our industry members who cover every stage of manufacturing and span the globe. We also work with world-class university researchers and have our own staff of manufacturing experts. Together, we find real world solutions to today’s manufacturing challenges.

At the same time, we are working hand-in-hand with our schools, community colleges and universities to create pathways for your existing and future employees to have the skills you need to be competitive today and tomorrow.

You don’t need to be a member of OMIC R&D to take advantage of our research and training opportunities. However, members have the benefit of networking with some of the largest and most innovative metals manufacturing companies in the world along with a number of other benefits.
