Through fun and engaging hands-on activities, Manufacturing Day is an opportunity for us to provide students and community members an understanding into the world of manufacturing and a chance to visit with regional companies and educational institutions in a world-class R&D facility.

At our October 2019 event, the largest in the state, 350 high school students from 12 school districts were brought together with 46 local, regional and global manufacturers to learn about advanced manufacturing through a variety of engaging hands-on activities.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, students learn about the academic and skill-based pathways to meaningful careers in the manufacturing sector.

2022 Columbia County OMIC Manufacturing Day

Events will be held at both OMIC R&D and the Portland Community College OMIC Training Center.
